There is no better way for Swifties to celebrate the singers birthday than to make her favourite Starbucks drink.
It’s Taylor Swifts birthday (13 December) and the best way to celebrate is to make a Grande Caramel Nonfat Latte, her favourite drink from the popular coffee house company, Starbucks.
Recently, Taylor Swift and Starbucks collaborated to celebrate the much-anticipated release of “Red (Taylor’s Version)” and red cup season for the holidays.
So, if you want to celebrate her birthday but can’t make it to Starbucks, The Bottle Club, has shared how to make the Taylor Swift-inspired Grande Caramel Nonfat Latte at home.
Here’s how you can make the drink:
Ingredients:
2 shots/ 18-21 grams of Espresso coffee beans
300ml Low Fat Milk (or a milk of your choice)
1 tbsp Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup (or full sugar if you prefer)
Method:
Whether you’ve got a bean-to-cup machine, a pro-barista-style set-up, or just a humble cafetiere, make the espresso how you would normally.
For those who have never made it before, the easiest way to make espresso at home is to grind your beans to a coarse grind and brew in a cafetière. Then filter in a sieve.
Next, steam your milk. Start by filling a microwave-safe container (like a coffee mug) with 300ml milk and heat for 20-30 seconds in the microwave.
Once piping hot, pour your espresso into a glass mug, followed by the steamed milk. It is important to pour slowly to get the right texture.
Finish by adding some caramel syrup. Pour as much as your sweet tooth can handle… it’s Christmas, after all.
